This thing sounds amazing! Recently serviced and everything is working as it should and performance, except that it is based on the 3020i integrated amplifier

Also learned 7020 basically is a 3020 + tuner and 3020 has the issue of the bad caps (C531, C532, C533) on the preamp mute circuit creating the "welcome thump" issue, does that apply to 7020? If it does, where is the mute circuit on 7020, are they C531 and C532 in schematics or somewhere else? If you don't want to go the route of separates and get the NAD 3020 amp and a separate tuner, then the 7020 receiver is a great no-frills choice. The NAD 7020 is a good receiver and, when working properly, sounds fantastic

Output is remarkable for a stated 20 watts (into 8 ohms) and the sound has the typical NAD sweet, warm richness that everyone talks about..
